In The Beginning!
Around 11 years ago, a young, Indian man, named Paul Raju wrote to us asking for help to raise money for a push bike, to help him with his work with orphans in Andhra Pradesh. Paul Morley, a Minister and Simon Hawthorne, a business man, were already involved in building and supporting a school and church in the North of India.
After meeting Paul Raju at our existing project in Utar Pradesh, we were pleased to buy him the push bike and promised to keep in touch. From this modest beginnging the work in Andhra has grown, and we now own 3 acres of land and have been able to build a school and orphanage for 150 children.
Over the years we have gained a good understanding of the needs in Andhra, which are considerable and have held a number of conferences with local pastors.
It is our hope that we can expand the work to build a
school and orphanage in each of the pastors villages.
