Lets Make Change
It is estimated that a staggering 6.6 million pounds sterling of loose change is lying in peoples drawers, or elsewhere around the house. That money could be put to much better use and make a dramatic improvement to the lives of some of the most vulnerable people on our planet.
Of the 27 million people believed to be in some form of slavery or bonded labour in the world today, 18 million are in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh with the vast majority being in India. Young girls are particulary vulnerable to being trafficked into the sex trade.
For the last 20 years, Life Association has been building schools and orphanages amongst the Dalit communities in India, but with your help we want to do much more. £20 a month will provide the food, education and a loving home for a child. Maybe you have that much in loose change right now. Or why not consider giving regularly to support a child. £200 a month will provide a home for 10 foster children and the foster parents.
If you are a tax payer then that could be covenanted by completing the attached form.
