1 in every 4 of the world’s poorest people are Indian. That means that around 176 million people living below the international ‘extreme poverty line’ (income of £1.40 or $1.90 per day or less).

In 2019, 824,448 children died in India before their 5th birthday. Many millions more live but go on to suffer malnourishment, stunting and other ravages of poverty. We believe each one is precious, made in the image of God and deserves every opportunity we can provide to live the ‘life in fullness’ that Jesus spoke of, in it’s fullest sense.
