This gift would provide a community toilet at one of the tuition centres we support. Due to the absence of safe accessible toilets, open defecation is widely practiced in most of the villages. This creates serious challenges, especially for young girls and women who face risks to their dignity, privacy and safety. This will improve health, safety, dignity, regular attendance of girls, and overall community well-being, while also promoting safe sanitation practices and reducing open defecation.
